Reflections of a Priestess By Liam Murray

I've had the Sight my entire life,

Seen battles, lovers, jesters and strife.

I've seen the fall of cities, the fall of lies,

And now, I tremble - for I have seen my demise.

The Old Religion is now fading fast,

No more prophecies will I tell, no more spells will I cast.

The Priests of Jesus we allowed to our Isle,

But they betrayed us with untruths and guile.

Taliesin, Merlin - The Great Druid of Old,

Igraine and Uther - What tales I've told.

All been affected by an unseen hand,

By Avalon, veiled by mist from the land.

And so now I go towards death with a grin,

Though I am old, wise and thin.

For I will be born-again in a new life,

I only hope this time it is a time without strife.
